The high spirit didn’t last long as Inter got off to there usual slow start. Colts were controlling the game from the off with there number 11 giving the inter defence a lot of problems.

With only 5 minutes gone on the clock inter had a free kick in colts half so inter pushed up. The free kick was taken early but didn’t manage to clear the first man and with so many forward Inter was in trouble. Colts broke quickly and caught inter out of position, it was 3 on 2 and the ball fell to there danger man number 11 who calmly slots in the first goal of the game 1-0.

Going a goal down didn’t get Inter motivated into the game again, with a few sloppy passes and the defence left exposed Colt’s confidents were building. After a mix-up in the didsbury defence there number 11 had a shot which bounced back off the post which made the inter defence freeze as the only player to react was a colts player who got his and Colts second goal. 2-0.

Now Inter were rattled and started to play like the team that got the three points last weekend. With some good play between Navid and John in the middle Inter started to move the ball about with some conviction.

After a few poor free kicks by Inter Navid stepped up to take control and with his first one of the game sent an inch perfect floating ball onto snow’s head who found John in the box who coolly laid it into Kean’s path to finish and get inter back in the game 2-1

Inter were now controlling the game so to keep the momentum made another change and on came Will to give Kean some extra support upfront. With the change the equaliser was getting closer and after a few corners the pressure was mounting on Colts.

A Corner in from the left by navid found Hamid who flicked on the ball into the danger area and with confusion between the Colts keeper and the defence Alex pounced and got what Inter diserved.2-2

Now level, Inter went looking for the winner and threw on last weeks star man Serj. The fresh legs of Alex, Will and Serj linked well across the park and supplier Kean with some perfectly placed through balls. Kean came close with some near post efforts but could not get passed the keeper.

As Inter were pushing for the winner this left the defence exposed and a Colts attack nearly ended with a goal as the ball went over Fawcett, it looked like game over but for the post and quick thinking by Phil we cleared all the danger.

With the normal time nearly up inter once again tried to push on for the winner but with Inter in control of the ball in the middle of the pitch there was some confusion between Alex and Serj who clearance didn’t find an inter feet but fell to Colts who broke quickly and caught out inter who were three on two and with only the keeper to beat Colts slotted home there third and the eventual winner. 3-2

With only a minute left Inter had left it to late this time and the game ended disappointingly after almost another great comeback this weeks early mistakes where just to much to recover from. FT 3-2
