Nello James opened in a fashion that suggested it was going to be another one of those games for Inter as Nello James went ahead in the 5th minute with a sloppy goal to give away due to a mix up in the defence. 0-1.
It took a while for inter to get settled with a few players playing together for the first time. Nello James passed the ball well making it very difficult for inter to get anywhere near the ball.
Once inter got there passing game into gear the game started to even out with Inter having a few long range efforts just narrowingly going wide. With Inters confidence increasing they started to get some balls into the box. After nicking the ball off the defender, Rico (Riadh Hamza) whipped a cross into the box only for John (heading not the strongest point) to put it wide.
With Rachid dropping into the middle Inter started to get control of the game and with John and Chris linking well down the line John whipped in a superb cross into the box for Chris to head the ball into the back of the net to get inter back on level terms.
Half Time 1-1
Inter started the second half as they finished the first, passing well using the space on the wings and whipping in some great balls into the box. Resulting from a Moody special throwing Inter were rewarded a penalty due to a foul on John, Fran stepped up and powered the ball in to the back of the net, 2-1.
Soon after Inter got a corner which fell to Rico who guided it toward the keeper who fumbled and let it slip though his legs. 3-1.
With Nello James pressing forward Inter caught them on the break with a counter attack and a nice one tow between Chris and Rico with the resulting a cross from Chris being handballed in the box, Penalty. Fran stepped up again and coolly slotted the ball past the keeper 4-1.
Nello James up there game now and brought out some excellent saves from Inter’s Keeper (Alex’s Mate, trialist) but they eventually got there reward from a good bit of skill from Nello James’s number 10. Final Score 4-2.

MOTM: Scott in goal. Our new keeper put in a solid performance and considering it was his 1st game for us he made some crucial saves. Another great signing for the club! |
